The large timber framed Salters Hall has been home to a number of private fee paying schools from the 1880s until the late 20th century. The last was the Preparatory School known as Salters Hall. Here the two Kindergarten groups run by Mrs King and Mrs Deeks have come together for a Nativity Play c1963.
