An intriguing image showing Grimwood the builder’s house and drawing office on the right – much as the house is today. On the left a mysterious structure, presumably erected after the fire on this site which happened just before the Great War. Its purpose?? One memory suggests that the top floor was demolished but the ground floor was still in use in the 1960s ( confirmed by image 1185. )Today it is the site of Weavers Court.
