Belle Vue Newton Road
Subject: Old Townscape
Gallery: Up to 1970
Catalogue ref: pa1115
An extremely early image of the Georgian house that was pulled down in 1871 to make way for the present Belle Vue. It features a gardener with a wheelbarrow, a lady in a tight-waisted crinoline and two(?) more ladies seated in the distance. The image is damaged and very faded but then it is about 150 years old!
