Frank Seppings senior, the East Street butcher, in 1955. He is standing with the champion bull he had just bought at the Market for the Christmas trade. The Seppings came from a family tradition of being in the butchery trade. Frank senior lived to be almost 90; his son Frank junior ran the family business from 49 Gainsborough Street.  Frank died in 2005 aged 72 and his Gainsborough Street shop is now The China Shop.
