Queues on Market Hill were reminiscent of the days of rationing in wartime. Essential shops like Boots the chemists only allowed in a few customers at a time. Pairs of footprints were painted on pavements to try and keep waiting customers two metres apart. At the entrance customers were asked to use the supplied hand sanitisers and wear a mask.
