Robert Death the baker with his delivery van, an image probably taken about 1930. The family bakers still was at 21-22 Cross Street and originally run by his father Sydney. There is an entry for the business in the 1937 Trade Directory, listed as Sydney Death and Son. but the picture is of Robert his son who presumably was running the business by that time.
