Such was the regard and affection for Andrew Phillips, Lord Phillips of Sudbury, who died at Easter 2023 that Sudbury lacked a venue large enough to accommodate all those wanting to celebrate his life. Instead, the service was switched to Lavenham where the great wool church filled to capacity.
