John Rimmer – Local artist, eccentric and celebrity. c1955. John was often seen on his bicycle around Sudbury and many local people possess his sketches and paintings. He had a collection of fossils and curios which he displayed above Wardman's shop on Market Hill (now the restaurant 'Ask.')
