The passage of this monster through the town must have caused massive traffic jams. We have been told that this large bolier/vessel was on its way to the Canon Avent factory in Glemsford but, if so, it is going in the wrong direction along Melford Road. More likely is another story that it was on its way to Sizewell. We would welcome more information about this event. Mid 1960s?
