Edith Wheeler’s millinery shop at 20 North Street, some time in the early 1900s. Her husband Edward owned the butchers at No 16 on the corner with North Street Passage.

No 20 is currently occupied by ‘Mummy and Baby’ but the fine Edwardian shop fascia seen here has gone.
