Over Christmas and the New Year 2008/9 Sudbury Woolworths closed, as did 807 to their stores all over the country. This was following the company going into administration with the loss of 27,000 jobs. Now in 2022 it is an Iceland store following a spell as a Poundland. Next door in the picture is the M&S food outlet, another sad loss for the shopping centre.
