The Victoria Hall in Prince Street was the scene of many events organised by the Conservative Club (its owners) and this was probably taken at one of their functions, possibly in the late 1940s. Harry and May Lever are in the front row, 6th and 7th from the left. Walter and Gwen Scott are 8th and 9th from the left in the third row from the top.
