One of a series of photos from Bruntons which show some of the stages in the manufacture of a marine propeller: this process in the machine shop is keywaying. George Hiscock is boring out the groove in the propeller 'hub' into which the raised key on the shaft will fit- thus preventing the propeller rotating on the shaft when power is applied. 1960's.
