Sudbury seen in about 1965. Some major new buildings are going up-it looks as though the Tax Office in Newton Road is finished whilst the Borehamgate precinct is still under construction. On the other hand features of an older Sudbury survives – waggons on the railway sidings, a spire on St Peters and the old Police Station dominating the junction of Newton, Cornard and Gt Eastern Roads with King Street.
